Canon FD 50mm f/1.8

reversed lens macro.

Due to the generosity of Andrew Purdam, I now have a reverse lens mount (52mm to EF mount).

These three shots are test shots using different lenses.

The older FD mount lens closes it's aperture when removed from the camera, I'd guess down to about f/5.6 to f/8 at a guess, thus the greater depth of field in this shot compared to the EF mount equivalent.

Can I use the Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 for digital cameras too? Would it work on my Canon EOS 400D? :S

Not really. It won't mount on the body, but you can use it reversed as a macro lens with a reversing adapter.
