Notices have been sent, but in case you missed it, we've made the judgement call to cancel today's session.
Even if the rain passes, it's likely to be dark and overcast, and the ground soggy.
A new date will be announced soon.

i was looking forward to your world famous chocolate brownie cake.
hahah +1 dave.
Hi. I'm an admin from the Photos of JPGs Consisting of Text Only Group, and we'd love to have this image submitted.
Fantastic composition, and great colour saturation.
Seen in Explore, #1, 11/10/2009. Congrats.
Tee hee hee.
its clearing!
maybe go shoot something this afternoon!
Yeah, it is clearing... but rain is still coming... and a few people had to travel, so safer to cancel .... don't worry, we will re book!
Dave, I'm coming over for some cake! haha
Yeah, could be a decent storm/sunset etc.
Actually anyone who wants cake is welcome to pop around this arvo ;-)
Hey Dave. Jason (Accesser) and I were already in town when workshop was cancelled. So we still got together for some photography. BTW Jason's 70 - 200 2.8 rocks.
Good to hear it wasn't a total loss for you then :-)
Yep we had a good time, Shot the people singing in the city Queen Streeet Mall exchanging ideas and tips as we are both new with flash.
Then had a coffee & got some stormy overcast shots from The Kangaroo Point Cliffs a good day indeed.
Cancelled ; (
That would be so funny if it was #1 explore ....
Afternoon tea might have been nice if I knew where I was going lol
I went to West End & watched my son play Beach Volleyball Final.
Tooks some pics too :-)
As for where to go, you only need to ask :P
Yeah I know (re asking) - I only saw this tonight anyway -
I had no idea you had picked a new date - I have been watching the "site".
Jason made a comment about doing something before the next one & I did wonder then
lol - the one variable you can not control , & we are coming into Storm season ...
Is that a Saturday or Sunday? :-)
I'd be careful about advertising workshops on Flickr. Oat, a (Flickr-)friend in Sydney who shoots some great stuff and is right into the lighting side of portraiture now (now that he's sold out & moved away from landscapes - haha), had his account deleted by FlickrHQ apparently because he was promoting his workshop. Such a shame - he'd accumulated about 1700 shots on Flickr and heaps & heaps of views, faves & comments in the last few years.
You might be better off tweeting & Facebooking about it. I think those guys have no problem with business promotion (but apparently Flickr do).
