Nice shot! It looks like it's careening around a corner - I wouldn't want to be on it!
I'm getting the hang of this panning thing now Melissa :) It helps that my subjects go around this corner quite slowly.
You got a good lock on the front of the bus.

Thanks Waikay! I've been playing around with panning recently. This time I locked in a 1/13th exposure and let the camera choose the aperture.

Thanks David. I used Tv mode. If you get the urge, you should be able to pull of some rippers with the S3 as it has a panning IS mode.

Hey, I like panning too, but yeah it takes a lot of practice. Not only have you got to track it, but you've got to frame it up correctly while it and you are moving. I need to play around a little more with it myself. Anyway, pretty nice.
Thanks - yes, there's definitely a knack. I've only practiced with relatively slow moving things up to now.
