We went for an early morning drive to Buderim to see the falls today.

I think I need to go even earlier though, as the sun was high enough to be an issue.

    Luckily there was some cloud cover, and the falls are in a bit of a valley, so there's only a couple of hot spots where the sun poked through.

    I got up at 6ish, and we managed to all get out of the house by 7:30. It took an hour and a quarter to get to the park and another 10 mins or so to walk to the falls. By the time I got this shot it was just after 9am and thus not really "morning light" anymore.

    I checked the exif, I was still suitabaly impressed, and you did get up early, whats more the troops were organised and out of the house earlyish as well. A major logistical event !!

    You really need to get organised the night before :-) so you can jump straight into the car - a packed breakfast on location is good - you can't beat a flask of coffee whilst taking in the view!

    (am I taking it all too seriously now?)

    Ah see well we haven't reached that level of organisation yet, for if we had, we'd have had a picnic lunch with us too. D'oh! But yes, getting up and going is a lot quicker than mucking about before leaving.
