Today's impromptu meet at Buderim Falls was a complete success.
Attended by the family and flickrites Garry, Matt, Josh and local Sunshine Coast lad, Robert.
Good to see lots of water flowing here.

Very nice Dave.
this is a very nice photo david!, very sharp and crisp.... !! is it still raining there
i thought this was cedar creek as we were there this morning. nice exposure dave. portrait oriented landscape shots really rocks!
Nice composition on that.
Looks like the sunlight didn't make too much of a PITA of itself.
Very nice indeed David, I looked at your EXIF F11 I see do you chose a Fstop that will give you nice depth of field & stick with it then adjust the shutter to get sufficient light or do you sometimes also have to sacrifice the DOF/Fstop I have been using f16 for most landscape stuff but perhaps I should notch it down a bit to get better exposure
beaut pic david did you use the ND400,where at buderim is this im passing there everyday might have to have a look if i get time.
Very nice Dave...love that palm. Is that the number I said? (546). Thanks for the initiative to set this up....even with REALLY short notice. It was a stunner indeed....this is a great place and today was the day
BTW - I took the boys up to Wildhorse Mountain and this was very nice too!

Oh, and just a polariser here, no ND filters.
Glad we got several people along, definitely the day for it.
Yeah Wildhorse looked like it had good potential, but the kidlets were quite tired by then.
Stunning image David.
THATS AMAZING
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Great Great Great
Great shot Dave - I love it!!
Great Shot David. 'Greenness' is great in the top half and the water is just like mist, especially the part where I placed the note.
Nice work Dave. I really should have gone done a little lower - next time for sure!
Great comp there Dave! Didn't get too wet I hope!
Very nice waterfall image Dave, beautiful.
I find the place by looking up Harrys Lane in Buderim and that takes me straight to it -at 5am you want clarity in your map reading, lol.
Beautiful shot David, shame I didn't see the posting re meetup, looks like you had a good day !
seen your stuff on the other forum too
this fall is a beauty the way you've shot - exposure and shutter speed are perfect
True, True David, but I must say you guys travelling around the countryside does at least give us newbies some ideas for places to tryout in our own time too. (Thank you)
Unfortunately no for today, have family commitments, will be interested to read / hear about everyone's bargins !
As for bargains, not much in the Canon dept. so nothing for me.
Stunning falls, Excellent composition & just in the back of the sunny coast.
Never been there, just starting to explore my local area around Gympie & finding some pretty good places.
Beautiful image. Just wonderful

Love the composition and the very natural colors. The dark background is providing very good contrast with the water.
Beautiful
