This is a stitch of 3 wide-angle shots of the Brisbane River at the Wivenhoe Pocket Road crossing, Fernvale, Qld.
This is the same area I took this shot in, back in 1999.

wow! lovely ripples & sunlight reflection.
beautiful shot!!
Thanks Maria, I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out - that autostitch software is fantastic :)
Nice job David.
lovely place, amuses me how many UK names you have, for obvious reasons, but wivenhoe is the area telephone code for where my sister lives !
anyway, theres a few bods messing about in the water so no crocs here then !
Thanks Cecily.
Helen, as you stated, obvious reasons :) Wivenhoe in SE Qld is where Brisbane's main water supply comes from (the dam of the same name across the Brisbane River). Wivenhoe Dam is capable of holding 4 times the volume of Sydney Harbour, but due to drought it's currently at something like 30% full :(
nice one David :-)
Thanks :)
I hadn't intended making a stitch when I shot it, just took shots on a tripod pointing in different angles. It wasn't until I got home and looked at them that I noticed they all overlapped and would stitch together nicely.
