Boonie's Boys on Adelaide St

Waiting for the bus to the Gabba.

The Ashes starts today right here in Sunny Brisbane and the fans were out and about. I spotted (but didn't get a photo of) a crew at Ferny Grove Station with Sombreros, flags as capes, etc.

Notice the loan England supporter.

The question is, How many of these guys called in Sick today ?

Not a fantastic shot I'm afraid.

No, all at work. Someone had a tv on upstairs, but it was of passing interest.

Everyone has deserted uni now anyway...
I saw many a supporter (mostly the barmy army) on the way to work this morning in the middle of the mall, but didn't stop to flickr at them.
The Queensland Museum was showing the Ashes urn earlier in the week, and I saw it IRL :) It's tiny.

I saw a few minutes of it at the pub this arvo. (a bloke gets thirsty you know!), but yeah not overly interested.

Rachel, I'm not surprised about the size, after all it's just the ashes of a single stump. Hmmm, flickr as a verb...

if you can 'google', then you can certainly 'flickr'.....though would the act of 'flickr-ing' inlcude the actual uploading of the photo, or just the intention to :-)

leave this one to the academics!!
