Black-Shouldered Kite Landing sequence

I spotted this guy at the last minute and rattled off a few shots as he was landing.

Figuring it made for a nice sequence, I've done a quick and dirty septych of the shots.

    Yeah saw Superb Fairy-wrens, Red-backed Fairy-wrens, Variegated Fairy-wrens, a pair of (I think) Striped Honeyeaters, a Rufous Whistler and the usual waterbirds.

    This is indeed an unfortunate fact. I was however constrained by the two rusty barbed wire fences and shoulder height grass between me and where I should have been.
