Black-shouldered Kite

Finally got a hovering kite shot, albeit rather cropped and lacking light in the eyes. These are things I intend to improve on.

In the meantime, here's a hovering Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus axillaris) at North Pine Dam, off Gold Scrub Lane.

    Well they're definitely there ;-) Saw a Whistling Kite on the way home (hovering over the turnoff to Wynn Rd), but I was doing 100kph at the time and there was nowhere easy to pull over.
