    Apparently it's all north. There's a severe thunderstorm alert out for Gympie and the Sunshine Coast.
    I'm hoping something develops a bit further south before it gets dark.

    Yeah I was woken at 2:40am by some very loud thunder. Lots of lightning and thunder reverberating around the valley for a good 20 mins. We even got 8mm of rain. Too tired to get up and try to shoot any of it though.

    Same here ;p not to mention the fact I'd only been out of surgery for 12 hours ;p we had no power for a bit, not much rain just loud thunder and BRIGHT flashes. The clouds looked fantastic this morning here too.

    Ah, we didn't lose power, although the adsl got stunned and I had to reboot the router this morning.
