    Certainly a cut above the normal pigeon (a.k.a. flying rats) with those beautiful feather patterns.

    We're lucky to have a fairly wide range of pigeons and doves in Australia, some are truly spectacular (and hopefully one day I'll be able to get decent photos of them - esp. the Emerald Dove as it's really very pretty with it's iridescent green wings).
