This male figbird was spotted in the park behind my Brother's house in the northern suburbs of Mackay. They are however pretty common from NW WA to Vic.

They are very pretty birds. When chicks are fed by mum and dad they have this amazing shaking, rotating action they do to encourage feeding. When one is hand-raising them it's amazing and earns them the nick of "washing machine bird".
Such a pretty bird :)
