    I was maybe 1m from his tail at this stage I think. :) I didn't want to get too close in case he decided I was a tree and thus a good place to escape to ;-)

    Oh wow nice shot, I was out camping/shooting one time with Dad we came back to camp to find one of these guys checking out our site, Wise choice giving him room they could make a mess of you, As I have said to other people I often wonder what our life would be like if we still shared the earth with dinosaurs I think it would make things quite different :P

    It was indeed Rae. We had a good long walk at the BFP HQ (5km), spotted various wildlife, then toodled up to Mt Glorious for food and did a spot of geocaching on the way back.

    It is big :) Although not big like a croc. I'd guess about 1.5m long. Claws would be about an inch or so.
