The arborium at Southbank Parklands.
We took a few along here, as it's such a pretty spot. All handheld though at high iso.
Taken during Day #1 of the Xenedis Visit Brisbanites Flickr Meetup weekend.

Cool. Very pretty indeed and looks pretty damn amazing lit like this with the dark blue sky above.
Pretty neat eh? :) Of course, once again if I wasn't so lazy I'd have set the tripod up for a longer exposure at a lower iso, thus reducing the noise.
Ok, you'd have had less noise, but the figures would have been blurred. I like it with the figures in it - I think it makes it work better.
Wow. Love it. Really nice colours and composition.
Well I was actually trying for a shot without people David, but it's a busy spot and just as I framed this one up the people in the shot came around the corner. Come to think of it, I'd not have got a decent shot with a long exposure since they'd all have streaky ghost people in them.
Thanks Tim (happy belated birthday by the way).
I'll have to get back there one day...
This is lovely, especially the blue sky through the arch :-)
Southbank is quite a nice spot for a stroll and to watch the world go by, definitely very nice around dusk and early evening Brian.
Thanks Tracey!
It just look like at fantasy story I read a few month ago! Nice photo
Neat, thanks Heidi :)
Wonderful shot!
Thanks Alison :) We took many along this path.
Such wonderful memories of home :) lovely shot :)

Seen in Out! (?)
Thanks :) I was reminded as we walked down this archway, that it used to be a boat ride. It'd been so long since I'd seen it as such that I'd completely forgotten. Apparently the ducks were a problem and keeping it clean an issue, might also have been a public safety risk (no fences from memory). Shame, I quite liked it at the time.
This is such a nice picture! Like the perspective :)
