Angus - post-Grooming

And here he is after he's been to the groomers. Admittedly the difference isn't that great (there was a much bigger difference on Rosie), but he's definitely neater now :)

Nyahahaha! Poor dog...he looks kind of sad...almost in tears.

Nah this is his usual stare - the slight raising of the ear means he's probably wondering why I'm taking a picture of him.

He always looks kind of sad. Its just his usual expression.
You know how most dogs do that grin with their tongue hanging out thing? Not him.
He just looks desperately sad all the time.
In a cute way, luckily :)

Our dog (when I was a boy) used to be able to sit right next to on the beach, perhaps a couple of feet away, and put on such a poor-little-doggy-I'm-lost-feed-me expression on his face that he usually got given little treats by other people.

when we had a standard schnauzer, and previously an airedale terrier, they always used to hold out their ears after they had been trimmed. We thought it was because the hair was a bit spiky and sharp after being cut. your dogs are cute, not a good colour for our climate with all this mud and rain though !

Hi Helen - well, he is somewhat West Highland Terrier, and supposedly they were bred as a hunting dog. Didn't they put them down holes to get, umm, things? (Memory fails) So I guess they are bred for dirt :)
Believe me, their coats (when they are longer) can hide an amazing amount of dirt.. I know, I'm the official Bath Girl ;)

Badgering I think was what Westies were bred for.
