The most amazing clouds were about at sunset this evening when I got off the train, but alas, the train station has no good vantage spots for photography that don't have light posts or electricity lines in them.
Thus I had to wait until I got to Cedar Creek Rd before there was a clear, unobstructed view and by then the interesting clouds had mostly gone, so all you get is this silhouetted tree and a touch of pink.
See where this picture was taken.

You still managed a good capture Dave, Well done!
It's not bad Kev - definitely not what I wanted, but then I was in the wrong place at the right time.
Well the silhouetted trees are nice and they added contrast to your nice pink and blue sky!
Thanks Margot :)
Very pretty even though it's not what you'd wished for.
Thanks Melissa :)

Thanks Jill :)
What a sky! Beautiful.
Gave me quite a shock at first here, Dave - I thought you'd got up early for sunrise ;-)
Just a pale echo of the beauty I saw but could not catch Heidi.
hehehe yeah not me David!
I like the cold and orange near the horizon, too...
:)
There looked to be some good clouds out this evening too, but I missed the 5:14 train and thus was on the train when the clouds were at their best.
I like it, even if you were in the right place at the wrong time - or was that the wrong place - right time.....
Both I think Helen :)
Hey David this is a lovely sunset, particularly with the trees against the sky, a nice 'soft' sunset! I personally think it was worth missing the train for, but then again, that's easy for me to say! LOL :-))
Thanks Tracey - this was the previous day (the day I managed to catch the train, and let me tell you, it put up quite a fight, but that's another story) ;-)
