360 degree Stormclouds

57 portrait oriented images stitched together to form a complete 360 degree panorama.

This was shot a couple of hours before todays storm as the clouds were still forming up.

    Yeah turned out pretty well. Used a GND8 for the sky, and shot at 12mm (obviously bumped the zoom ring at some stage). Lots of overlap between shots.
    Apart from the photostitch, no PP at all. Took the raw images, converted them to JPG, whacked it through AutoPanoPro to stitch them, shoved it back into Lightroom and exported with the usual borders/watermark.

    We got almost 1/2 inch from the short downpour.
    Quite windy in the valley, not as much at my place.

    hehehe I thought your shot was pretty impressive though, definitely had more of a front to it by then.
    Cooled off about 4 degrees here, but didn't get much cooler and it looks like it'll be a warm one today too.

    You have a darn site more patience than me David. I would have taken (at best) three shots. Stitched em in PS then cropped the bottom and top to make it look reallllllllllllly long :)

    Well you know, I started shooting and was going to do just 5 or 6 shots, but noticed the tripod seemed to be level (no spirit level on this one), so I kept going, and before I knew it I'd done a full 360 ;-)
