    Yeah there wasn't much in the way of clouds today. Check out the linked pano (above) for how it looked in 1925.

    Yeah I figured there's a few I can work out where they were taken from, and shoot again. :)

    Thanks, it's 17 shots stitched together - final version was 2.53Gb in size, which I then converted to 8bit and saved as jpg to get it down to about 9Mb.

    I think, when I reshoot I may need to use a slightly longer lens, and maybe a ladder in order to get the same field of view as the original.

    I didn't bother with the polariser, as you'd have to adjust it several times over the pano (due to angle from the sun), which is a pain when doing this sort of thing handheld.
